Succulent Teacup Gardening Workshop (Hosted at The Cupboard)
Learn how to create an adorable succulent teacup garden during this hands-on workshop. Participants will learn the correct planting and care methods for succulents in a container without drain holes as well as design basics. Each teacup garden will contain a gorgeous selection of succulents, mosses and either a miniature bunny, chick or lamb. The finished product is a lovely desk, table, or window sill decoration that requires little maintenance. Teacup gardens also make wonderful hostess and Mother’s Day gifts. The design possibilities are endless.
Light refreshments provided by The Cupboard, North Alabama’s premier kitchen shop located in Decatur, Alabama will be served during the workshop. Participants will enjoy refreshing champagne punch infused with fresh squeezed lemonade and tender locally grown rosemary. An Epicurean styled fromagerie platter of lemon zested Stilton and triple cream French brie with fresh local fruits will be served as well. Desserts to complement include lemon scented baby Bundt cakes baked in NordicWare's bunny pans as well as lime basil shortbread. This shortbread is one of The Cupboard’s most requested recipes!
