2017 Farm to Table Dinners
Chef Jakob Reed of Albany Bistro and Natasha McCrary of 1818 Farms present "Dinner on the Farm." There will be two dates to choose from this year: Friday, June 9, 2017 (sold out) starting at 7:00pm and Friday, September 8, 2017 (sold out) starting at 6:00pm. Guests will enjoy a four-course, gourmet experience in historic Mooresville, AL.
Upon arrival at 1818 Farms, guests will be offered a selection of farm fresh appetizers and have an opportunity to walk the farm grounds and see the animals. Afterwards, guests will be seated for dinner at gorgeous tables under the 1818 Farms pavilion. The four-course farm-to-table dinner is prepared by Jakob Reed and his chefs from Albany Bistro using vegetables grown just feet from guests’ tables as well as from other local growers. Guests will enjoy light live jazz music as entertainment during the event
At the presentation of each course, Jakob will discuss the details of what he has prepared — where it came from, how it was prepared and why it was chosen for the dinner.
